Research Director

Dr. Jung Jae-eon leads TeraVitals' research initiatives with a robust scientific background. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Microbiology from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from KAIST. His extensive experience includes post-doctoral research at the US NCI/NIH Lab. Exp. Carcinogen, as well as senior researcher roles at the Seoul National University Genetic Engineering Research Institute and the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB). Dr. Jung's leadership ensures scientific rigor and innovation in our approach to cognitive health.

Kim Chan-kyu brings a wealth of international academic and corporate experience to TeraVitals. He earned his B.Sc. from Case Western Reserve University and an M.Sc. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, further undertaking doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge. His professional journey includes significant positions at DACOM Co. Ltd., Korea BNC Co., and Mediforum Co., Ltd., providing him with deep insights into business strategy and pharmaceutical commercialization.

Jung Kwang-yeol offers a unique interdisciplinary perspective as a Director at TeraVitals. With a background in Electronic Engineering from Hanyang University, he further pursued and obtained an M.Sc. in Korean Herbal Medicine from Wonkwang University. His practical experience includes serving as the Head and Research Director of the Outpatient Herbal Dispensing Room at Incheon St. Mary's Hospital, combining modern scientific understanding with traditional medicinal approaches.

Director

Han Won-gyo contributes his specialized knowledge in biotechnology as a Director. He holds both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Bio-materials Engineering from Kangwon National University. His career includes valuable experience as a Senior Researcher at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), where he honed his skills in fundamental and applied bioscience research crucial for the development of our innovative health solutions.

Shin Yong-seung plays a key role in product development, leveraging his expertise in biotechnology and biochemistry. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Changwon National University and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Kyungpook National University. His professional experience includes research at the KAIST Proteomics Business Unit and a senior researcher position at Youngdong Pharm R&D Center, providing a strong foundation in pharmaceutical research and development.

Yoo Dae-won

Yoo Dae-won brings a diverse scientific background to his role, with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Chungnam National University, an M.Sc. in Preventive Veterinary Medicine (also from Chungnam National University), and further doctoral studies in the same field. His research contributions include work in the Preventive Veterinary Medicine Lab at Chungnam National University and with the Biology Team at Seoul National University's Marine Natural Products New Drug Research Group, emphasizing his expertise in natural compound research.

Lim Hyun-guk

Dr. Lim Hyun-guk is a distinguished medical professional and a vital member of our Advisory Committee. He earned his M.D. from the Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine, followed by an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Psychiatry from the same institution. Currently a Professor at Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital, Catholic University of Korea, he also directs the hospital's Brain Health Center. His clinical expertise in psychiatry and brain health is invaluable to TeraVitals' research and product development, particularly in neurodegenerative diseases.

Professor Ryu Ho-ryeong provides essential insights from the field of traditional Korean medicine. A specialist in Internal Medicine of Korean Medicine, he completed both his K.M.D. and Ph.D. at Kyung Hee University College of Korean Medicine. As a Professor at Daejeon University College of Korean Medicine and a specialist at Daejeon University Korean Medicine Hospital, Professor Ryu's profound understanding of holistic health and herbal formulations enriches TeraVitals' strategic direction.

Dr. Shin Dae-hee is a highly experienced pharmaceutical expert on our Advisory Committee. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Sungkyunkwan University. His impressive career includes leadership roles such as Director and Factory Manager (Board Member) at Solpyo Chosunmu Pharmacy Research Institute, Director of Chungbuk Technopark Traditional Medicine Industry Center, Executive Managing Director at Youngjin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Vice President of the BNS Division at LSK Global Pharma Services. His extensive background in pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, and business strategy is a tremendous asset.

Yoo Sung-jin

Dr. Yoo Sung-jin is a neuroscience specialist providing critical guidance to TeraVitals. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Inje University and has an accomplished international research career. This includes post-doctoral research at the Department of Neuroscience, University of South Florida; a Visiting Fellowship in the Neural Protection and Regeneration Section at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, NIH, USA; and serving as an Associate Investigator at the Center for Neuropsychiatric Research in Miaoli, Taiwan. His expertise in neural protection and regeneration is directly applicable to TeraVitals' goals in cognitive health and anti-dementia research.
